Ever since I was a little girl, I felt that the world must be more than what we see. I turned to books, searching for worlds that could give me that sense of magic and excitement I longed for.

As a teenager, I was incredibly lucky to join the art studio of renowned Belarusian abstract artist Anatoly Kuznetsov. He taught me how to see, not just to look; how to observe without interfering, and how to study the world through pencil and paint. I became fascinated by this intangible “in-between” space I had begun to glimpse. Even after completing my BA in Graphic and Communication Design at Central Saint Martins, I returned to my Teacher. I explored abstract fine art, drawing, film photography, with one main objective — to dematerialise the form to see and to feel what is not seen.

This same objective guides my design practice. I am driven to get to the core of things, to understand why they are the way they are. My ability to observe and strip away the unnecessary helps me do this. Typography is my primary medium, and I work at the intersection of readability and abstraction. Strategy and branding give me the opportunity to apply my passions, my skills, and my knowledge to real life projects to connect to real people. I am committed to creating visual systems that bring deeper meaning into the world.
